Canon 6
Overview
This canon forbids clergy from engaging in secular business or trade, warning that such activities will lead to their removal from church property.
1Canon of Abtilis: Let it not be desired by bishops, or priests, or deacons, who are entrusted with the message of the church, to engage in secular business. And if they do so, let them not be left, but let them be removed from the property of the church.
