Conclusion
Overview
The conclusion exhorts the faithful to obey the preceding commands, warns of judgment for disobedience, and closes with a prayer and doxology.
1The conclusion of the knowledge of the books and their names.
2O congregation of the faithful, hear our word and our command, for it is from the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Life-giver, and we have commanded you. If you keep it, your salvation will be in it, and there will be among you a fellowship of peace and a ladder. But if you do not keep it, you will be condemned because of it, [qəst] will seize you, and you will be called to account for what you have done by abandoning his command, transgressing the command, and committing sin.
3We ask God the Father himself, and Christ, who became incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, to strengthen you in obedience to him through the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Life-giver. He is the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete, who descended upon his disciples on the height of Zion, so that he may clothe you with that which is spiritual and help you to do good things in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, his Son and Beloved, God, Savior, and our Judge, who became incarnate from the Holy Spirit, became human, was crucified, and rose on the third day, as the prophets prophesied concerning him.
4To him be praise and glory, together with his Father, wise and great, and the Son who speaks and creates, and the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Life-giver, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.
