Overview
This canon directs the faithful to appoint senior ecclesiastical leaders patterned after Moses and Aaron.
1Commandment concerning prelates. The faithful are to appoint for themselves prelates: archbishops, [pappasat], and bishops. They are to be patterned after Moses and Aaron, the chief priests, and are to give commands to all the people.
