Chapter 10
First Book of Dominos · Section 10 of 74 · 1 passages
1But Syria will be plundered and will weep for her sons. Cilicia will lift up her neck until he who judges her appears. The daughter of Babylon will arise from the throne of her glory so that she may drink the wine mixed for her. Cappadocia, Lycia, and Lycaonia will bow their backs, for many multitudes will be depraved by the corruption of their wickedness. Then the camps of the barbarians will be opened, for many chariots will go forth and cover the face of the earth. Throughout Armenia, Pontus, and Bithynia, the young men will fall by the sword, and the sons and daughters will be taken captive. The sons and daughters of Lycaonia will be mingled in their blood. Pisidia, which boasts and trusts in her riches, will be overthrown to the ground. The sword will pass through Phoenicia because her inhabitants are children of corruption. Judea will clothe herself in lamentation and will be made ready for the day of destruction because of her uncleanness. Then she will gather together the abomination of desolation. The East will be opened by him, and the ways will also be opened by him. Sword and flame are in his hands; he burns with anger and fiery indignation. This is the armor of judgment against the corruption of those born on the earth: the extermination of the faithful and the way of bloodshed. His way is in error, his power is to blaspheme, his hand is for deception, his right hand is in misery, and his left hand is in darkness.
