Chapter 13

1Then those who fear My words and truly obey them with a faithful mind will watch and pray without ceasing, regarding continual supplication as a work. They will neither wander nor go about in this world, nor be anxious about anything, but with an austere soul and an unwavering mind they will take up the cross daily to do the will of My Father in heaven with a meek heart. For the Lord is concerned for those who trust in the truth and cares for them. He sends them what is right and fitting—the things he knows, by the hands of those whom he knows.
