Canon 16

1Canon 16. Concerning one who commits fornication, swears falsely, or steals.

2A bishop, presbyter, or deacon who is found in fornication, false swearing, or theft shall be deposed but not excommunicated, for the Lord says, “Punishment shall not be exacted twice for one offense.”
