1Canon 22. Concerning a presbyter who despises a bishop.

2If a presbyter despises a bishop, separates himself, and makes an offering for himself, when no error in judgment concerning God’s work is found against the bishop and the bishop is acting rightly, let the presbyter be deposed as a lover of office, together with all the clergy who followed him, for he is a rebel. The laypeople who followed him shall be excommunicated. This shall take place after the bishop has appealed to them a first, second, and third time.
