Section 11
Second Book of Dominos · Section 11 of 51 · 3 passages
1Then the Lord said to Mary and her sisters, “Let us go to them.” He came and found us inside and called us out, but we thought he was a phantom and did not believe that it was the Lord.
2Then he said to us, “Come, do not be afraid. I am your Master, the very one, Peter, whom you denied three times. Do you now deny me again?” We came to him, doubting in our hearts whether it was he.
3Then he said to us, “Why do you still doubt and disbelieve? I am the one who spoke to you about my flesh, my death, and my resurrection. But so that you may know that I am he, Peter, put your finger into the marks of the nails in my hands. Thomas, put your finger into the wound made by the spear in my side. Andrew, look at my feet and see whether they press upon the earth, for it is written in the prophet: ‘A devil’s phantom leaves no footprint upon the earth.’”
