Section 17

1We said to him, “Lord, after how many years will this come to pass?” He said to us, “When the hundredth part and the twentieth part are fulfilled, between Pentecost and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, then the coming of my Father will take place.”

2We said to him, “Now you say to us, ‘I will come’; so how can you say, ‘He who sent me is the one who will come’?”

3Then he said to us, “I am wholly in the Father, and my Father is in me.”

4Then we said to him, “Will you truly forsake us until your coming? Where can we find a master?”

5But he answered us, “Do you not know that, just as I have been here until now, so I was also there with him who sent me?”

6We said to him, “Lord, is it possible for you to be both here and there?”

7But he answered us, “I am wholly in the Father, and the Father is in me, because of the likeness of the form, the power, the fullness, the light, the full measure, and the voice. I am the Word. I have become to him a thing—that is to say, … of the thought, fulfilled in the likeness. I have come into the Ogdoad, which is the Lord’s day.”
