1We each begged and entreated him and asked him, saying, “Tell us the signs of your coming and of the end of the world, so that we may understand and recognize the time of your coming. Then we may instruct those who come after us, to whom we preach the word of your gospel and whom we appoint in your church, so that when they hear it, they may take heed to themselves and recognize the time of your coming.”
