Chapter 18

First Book of Dominos · Section 18 of 74 · 4 passages

1But because there are more and more carnal desires among the assembled people, and the laborers are weak and few, only my perfect laborers shall know the fullness of my words, including everything I sometimes spoke to you privately before I suffered, which you know, possess, and understand. For my mysteries are given to those who are mine, with whom I shall rejoice and be glad with my Father. When they are released from this life, they shall come to me.

2Speak these remaining words in the churches, determining and appointing them. From the day my faithful ones desire to know and to do the things of my Father contained in this testament of mine, I will be with them and shall be praised among them. I will make my dwelling with them, instructing them by power in the will of my Father.

3See that you do not give my holy things to dogs or cast pearls before swine, as I have often commanded you. Do not give my holy things to defiled and wicked people who do not bear my cross and are not subject to me, lest my commandments become an object of derision among them. It shall be to the one who is embittered and does not obey them, but gives my words without profit, to the destruction of their souls.

4But it shall be spoken and given to those who are firm and steadfast and do not fall away, who keep my commandments and this tradition, so that by keeping these things they may remain holy, upright, and strong in me, fleeing from the downfall of iniquity and the death of sin. The Holy Spirit shall bestow his grace upon them so that they may believe uprightly, spiritually know the things of the Spirit, endure labor in hope, serve my Gospel with joy, and bear the reproach of my cross, not doubting but rather glorying. Truly I tell you, such men and women shall, after death, dwell in the third order of my Father who sent me.
