Chapter 5

1A king of foreign race shall also arise in the West, a prince of great cunning, godless, a murderer, a deceiver, a lover of gold, ingenious in devising schemes, a hater and persecutor of the faithful. He shall also rule over barbarous nations and shall shed much blood. At that time silver shall be despised and gold honored. In every city and country there shall be plundering and robbery, and blood shall be spilled.
