Chapter 59

1Let the end of Pascha come after Saturday, at midnight. During Pentecost, let no one fast or kneel, for these are days of rest and joy. Let those who bear the burdens of labor refresh themselves a little during the days of Pentecost and on every first day of the week.

2Before offering the Offering, let the bishop say what is fitting for it, while those clothed in white receive from one another and say to one another, “Hallelujah.”
