Section 2

1We, John, Thomas, Peter, Andrew, James, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Nathanael, Judas Zelotes, and Cephas, write to the churches of the east and the west, of the north and the south, declaring and imparting to you what concerns our Lord Jesus Christ. We write according to what we have seen and heard and touched of him after he had risen from the dead, and how he revealed to us mighty, wonderful, and true things.
