Ethiopian Broader Canon

Section 31

Second Book of Dominos · Section 31 of 51 · 5 passages

1“Behold, a man shall meet you whose name is Saul, which is interpreted Paul. He is a Jew, circumcised according to the Law, and he shall hear my voice from heaven with fear, terror, and trembling. His eyes shall be blinded, and by your hands, through the sign of the cross, they shall be protected.

2“Do to him all that I have done to you. Deliver it to the other. At that same time the man shall open his eyes and praise the Lord, my Father who is in heaven. He shall receive power among the people and shall preach and instruct, and many who hear him shall receive glory and be redeemed.

3“Afterward, people shall be angry with him and deliver him into the hands of his enemies. He shall bear witness before mortal kings, and his end shall be that he turns to me, though at first he persecuted me. He shall preach, teach, and remain with the elect as a chosen vessel and a wall that shall not be overthrown. The last of the last shall become a preacher to the Gentiles, made perfect by the will of my Father.

4“As you have learned from Scripture, your fathers the prophets spoke of me, and in me it is indeed fulfilled.”

5He said to us, “Therefore, you also must be guides to them. Tell them everything I said to you and everything you write concerning me: that I am the Word of the Father and that the Father is in me. You shall also be such to that man, as is fitting for you. Instruct him and remind him of what is spoken about me in Scripture and is fulfilled. Afterward he shall become the salvation of the Gentiles.”
