Section 32

1We asked him, “Lord, do we and they have the same expectation of the inheritance?”

2He answered us, “Are the fingers of the hand like one another, or the ears of grain in the field? Do all fruit trees bear the same fruit? Does not each one bear fruit according to its nature?”

3We said to him, “Lord, will you speak to us again in parables?”

4Then he said, “Do not grieve. Truly I say to you, you are my brothers and my companions in the kingdom of heaven with my Father, for this is his good pleasure. Truly I say to you, I will also give that expectation to those whom you teach and who believe in me.”
