Section 33

1We asked him again, “When shall we meet that man, and when will you depart to your Father and our God and Lord?” He answered us, “That man will come from the land of Cilicia to Damascus in Syria to uproot the church that you must establish there. It is I who speak through you. He will come quickly and become strong in the faith, so that the word of the prophet may be fulfilled: ‘Behold, from Syria I will begin to gather together a new Jerusalem. I will subdue Zion to myself, and it shall be taken. The place that is childless shall be called the son and daughter of my Father, and my bride.’ For so it has pleased him who sent me. But I will turn that man back so that he does not accomplish his evil desire, and the praise of my Father shall be perfected in him. After I have gone home and remain with my Father, I will speak to him from heaven, and everything I have told you concerning him shall be accomplished.”
