Section 41

1He answered us, “Go and preach, and you shall be laborers, fathers, and ministers.”

2We said to him, “You are the one who will preach through us.”

3Then he answered us, “Are you not all fathers, servants, or masters?”

4We said to him, “Lord, you are the one who said to us, ‘Call no one on earth your father, for you have one Father, who is in heaven, and one master.’ Why, then, do you now say to us, ‘You shall be fathers of many children, servants, and masters’?”

5He answered us, “You have spoken rightly. For truly I say to you, whoever hears you and believes in me shall receive from you the light of the seal through me, and baptism through me. You shall be fathers, servants, and masters.”
