Section 44

1“Because of those who have fallen asleep, they shall remain outside the kingdom and the fold of the shepherd and his sheep. Whoever remains outside the sheepfold shall be devoured by wolves, and he shall be … and die in great affliction. He shall have neither rest nor endurance. Although he is severely punished, torn to pieces, and devoured in long and evil torment, he shall not be able to obtain death quickly.”
