Ethiopian Broader Canon
Section 47
Second Book of Dominos · Section 47 of 51 · 2 passages
1“But if someone falls under the burden of a sin he has committed, his neighbor shall correct him because of the good he has done for his neighbor. If his neighbor corrects him and he turns back, he shall be saved, and the one who corrected him shall receive a reward and live forever.
2“If a needy person sees one who has done him good sinning and does not correct him, he shall be judged severely. If a blind person leads another blind person, they both fall into a ditch. Whoever shows partiality for their sake shall be like those two, as the prophet said: ‘Woe to those who show partiality and justify the ungodly for a reward, whose god is their belly.’ Behold, that judgment shall be their portion. For truly I say to you, on that day I will neither show partiality to the rich nor pity the poor.”
