Ethiopian Broader Canon
Section 49
Second Book of Dominos · Section 49 of 51 · 3 passages
1If you hear anything against your brother, do not believe it. Do not slander, and do not delight in hearing slander. For it is written: Do not allow your ear to receive anything against your brother. But if you see anything, correct him, rebuke him, and turn him back.
2We said to him, “Lord, you have taught and warned us in all things. But, Lord, concerning the believers, those who should believe in the preaching of your name: is it determined that among them also there will be doubt and division, jealousy, confusion, hatred, and envy? For you say, ‘They will find fault with one another, show partiality to those who sin, and hate those who rebuke them.’”
3He answered us, “How, then, will the judgment take place, so that the grain may be gathered into the granary and its chaff cast into the fire?”
