Chapter 3

1Jesus answered, “When I was in the world, I spoke to you before I should be glorified about signs that the end was near: there shall be famines and pestilences on earth, tumults and commotions, nations rising against nations, and those other things of which I told you. But I commanded you to watch and pray. Now hear, children of the light, for my Father, who sent me to his inheritance, predetermined in his foreknowledge that in the last days, from the latest generation, there should be holy, honored, and chosen vessels of grace. Therefore I make known to you exactly what is about to happen, when that Son of Perdition shall arise—the Enemy, the Adversary—and what he is like.”
