Section 27

1“For this purpose I went down to the place of Lazarus and preached to the righteous and the prophets, so that they might come out of the rest below and rise into that which is above. With my right hand I poured upon them the water of life, forgiveness, and salvation from all evil, as I have done to you and to those who believe in me.

2“But if anyone believes in me and does not obey my commandments, even though he has confessed my name, he gains nothing from it but runs in vain. Such people will find themselves in perdition and destruction because they have despised my commandments.”
