Section 38

1But those who desire to see the face of God, show no partiality to rich sinners, and are not ashamed before the people who lead them astray but rebuke them, shall be crowned by the Father. Those who rebuke their neighbors shall also be saved, for they are children of wisdom and faith. But if they do not become children of wisdom, whoever hates and persecutes his brother and shows him no favor shall be despised and rejected by God. Those who walk in truth and in the knowledge of faith and have love toward me—for they have endured insult—shall be praised because they walk in poverty and endure those who hate and shame them. People have stripped them naked and despised them because they continued in hunger and thirst. But after they have endured patiently, they shall receive the blessedness of heaven and shall be with me forever. But woe to those who walk in pride and boasting, for their end is destruction.
